This web-based program allows for searching for homeless services in Texas throughout a county, a county plus adjacent counties, or a larger region. With this form, you select a county; subsequent screens have buttons that will enable you to expand the search range to adjacent, or even double-adjacent, counties.

SHELTER

Austin Resource Center for the Homeless (ARCH)

This day resource center/night shelter provides bathrooms, showers, bus tickets, coffee, emergency clothing, first aid and hygiene supplies, laundry facilities, lockers, mailboxes, message posting, referrals and telephone.

Trinity Center

Day resource center, phone, computers, breakfast and coffee, women's clothing closet, direct assistance, eye clinic (appointments made through ARCH Clinic); communication assistance (Fridays); Sunday Worship followed by a meal. Hours: Mon. 10-12 (women only); Tue.-Fri. 10-2; Sunday 2:45-4:30.

Foundation for the Homeless

Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) offers a 90-day shelter stay to homeless families with children as they work toward self-sufficiency. Long-term case management services are offered to all families residing in IHN. Supportive services are offered through the Passages case management program.

Community Partnership for the Homeless

Transitional housing for single male and female veterans.  Affordable rental housing for families with children and the elderly.
